Forget sentiments and try to look at the resolutions of the confab. If implemented will surely move Nigeria forward. We shouldn't be too difficult as a people else we remain in the wilderness for a very long time

Coming to implement which Confab. You called that Kangaroo gathering Confab? May God deliver many of you from Jonathan’s charm.

A Jonathan ambition is good any day any time, but why should the North plot this for the south just bec they needed someone that will run for just a term. It would have been better if they allow us have our straight 8 yrs

I will vote for him without thinking twice.

If we're not careful, all this archaic bigoted thoughts of electing leaders solely because of where they come from instead of their technical competence, would be the doom of this country.

We the youths need to wake up and wise up! For God's sake we cannot continue to allow these old men use our heads to play their political games and keep the progress of our nation slow. It is so sad that they are gradually succeeding in pushing their archaic divisiveness along ethnic, religious, and regional lines down our throats. We the young generation that are supposed to keep our differences aside and genuinely work for this country are now towing the divisive line, insulting each other based on Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, or Islam and Christianity etc. It's so unfortunate. We can do better than that.

We seriously need to come together as one youth body all over the country and identity the competent people among us to get into government. WE CAN DO IT if we put our heads into it. The southern celebrities and influencers should reach out to the northern celebrities and influencers and we should all come together possibly through a youth national conference and iron out all our issues. Then move as one force to take over government and change our country for the better.

WE CAN DO IT!

Jonathan is definitely better than Bihari but he is definitely not the type of leader Nigeria need. He has done is best which was definitely not enough, let him go and rest. Remember the second coming of Mungo Park killed him.

We don't need a political leader like Jonathan in Nigeria anymore...
We deserve a better leader than the same crop of old fools some political opportunists are patronizing for president. ..

I know some people made a lot of money during the Jonathan government and they want such looting to continue....

Never again shall we have someone like Jainadaft as president
Re: PDP: Jonathan’s Men Regroup For 2023 by Nobody: 4:25pm On Nov 08, 2020
It is amazing how the northern elites view the southern block of this country. Their calculations and blinkering is just to ensure that power remain in the north irrespective of whatever political platforms there are for them to perpetuate their visions.

5years ago, Jonathan will not be allowed to finished his second term because the north felt he used Yardua' time and so wants power back in the north.. Both parties then ensured a notherner was on the tickets. Now that a fresh faced southerner means power will be away for atleast 8years. Jonathan has become the fastest route to bring back power after 4years.

And trust power hungry opportunists in the south, this will be lost to them, they will soon put pressure on GEJ to push. He is entitled to his right to contest, but I pray the man's decency makes him keep himself away from the office and forever continue to enjoy the goodwill he still has.

The botched #END SARS pained me, because I felt the problem with this country is not SARS rather it is how we are set up. Nigeria is set up to fail. Even the most intentioned man will fail in running this country. Wake Regan or any of the greats like former singaporean president from the dead, they will fail to run this country well with the way we are set up.

My greatest grouse with GEJ is that he blew a great chance of reordering this country. Police for instance can't be reformed if Nigeria is not reordered. Until a Peter Obi can handover to an Osibanjo and Adewunmi can take over to hand over to a man from His plateau or a wukari man. Then we are still joking. If it must be Fulani and then others. I am sorry.

While I am impressed with what the youth did with ENDSARS administration, but that simple display of efficient management can't work in a complex system like the current Nigeria. This system frustrates the best of men.

For the sake of all us. GEJ better stay off Also Vila. What the youths can do, is to use their voting power to vote outside what the politicians set up for us.

I pray he doesn't agree to be used as a PAWN it would be very unwise of him to go back to a sit where he was frustrated out of power, if they really loved him why didn't they vote him for second term now they want to use him as a PAWN.... Ex president Goodluck Jonathan pls don't fall for their game plan

Confab without being approved by the national assembly was a jamboree. GEJ knew this and yet went ahead to waste tax payers money. The Nigerian laws empowers only the national assembly to approve a new constitution. If we are tired of the 1999 Constitution and it’s amendments, it becomes the task of Nigerians to lobby their reps requesting a review and implementation of the Confab, thus passing it into law.

When they push you for their selfish interest, DONT push yourself.

I know Jonathan should be wiser by now.

If you saw the interview with Dele Momodu he stated clearly that he's not interested in Nigeria's politics rather he's pushing for self determination.

the north will eternally decieve the south.
You think those calling Jonathan are doing it for him?
The north is scheming on how to allow the south run for only a single term,so that power can return back to the north after only 4 yrs.
