Instead of being joyful, we're often found in the habit of comparing our life with the achievements of our "age mates" and when the margin of our solemn journey is not in tandem with theirs, depression sets in.

In retrospect the seeker murmurs: He drives the latest car, he has built a mansion, a young millionaire he is, she works in a multinational company, they live in Europe and they're all my age mates; "God when" the seeker retorts in cold silence.

The seeker ponders, wonders & eventually drowns in the sea of depression for his mind is too shallow to comprehend that a number of his age mates are long gone & some have just past on but "there's hope for the one who is joined with the living"* that although he falls shot he will rise in his time like a young plant.
