The policy should be scraped, it should be 40% merit 30% catchment which should now cover all states 20% predegree and 10% discretionary.

I agree with the first part.
I wonder how states like Rivers, kaduna, akwa ibom etc still get classified as ELDs even Ebonyi and kano.
Nigeria that has the highest paid lawmakers in the world, yet so useless.
If they try and try and manage to pass one bill or implement one policy,to review it will be in the next 50-100 years.
Most laws and policies we have today are simply not understandable again when you place them against the backdrop of present realities, they just don't fit any longer. But we have lawmakers that earn millions of dollars annually for coming to work 2 days a week and still can't stay awake for 2hrs.

The 1999 constitution was made by the military and it's the foundation of our problems in Nigeria.

We must restructure or disintegrate

Hausas would never give up on quota system, without it none of them would be able to attend universities or even secondary schools. Look at the quota system attorney general malami fake SAN who can't make one single coherent statement.
Abokii's are dragging us backwards in this country, if we continue like this nigeria won't develop in the next 1000 years

Imagine this abokii's comparing quota system to oil derivation. Are the universities based in the north , why should southern universities use quota system to get people from the north why the northern universities won't get people from the south. All these leeches will continue to feed fat off the South wealth they have nothing but arid desert. God punish Lord lugard

This is why we need restructuring or disintegration.

The North West wants to destroy us as humans.

Until the end of all ages or another earth is formed, the quality of education in the north will never meet up with that in the south. They will remain in that quota system for life.

I don catch u..just because u get 100,000 thousand to do predegree and other don't have means that u should be given admission before others that passed jamb more than even post utme..
Like unilorin that will use 230 for Civil Engineering jamb and 160 jamb score for the their predegree. And those ijmb or jupeb are all scam too just because u have the money.

What are they waiting for to scrap it?

Students should be admitted based in their academic performance and university's cut-offs. All these quota system based on State of Origin should be abolished immediately!

The reason we cannot move forward

Lots of hypocrisy. Lots of things in this Nigeria is tilted to help the Northern part and they have continue to use it in oppressing and creating inequality in all aspects. Northern states Government is now leveraging on it.

The Igbos having passed through a devastating civil war, got nothing from Fed Government as conciliatory gestures instead it is more marginalisation.

Hypocrisy is the greatest problem of Nigeria. We can't grow.

No,
The Northern leaders purposely discourage their people from going to school.

In the quota system, girls need more marks compared to boys.

They deliberately discourage their girls from getting educated because they know when they educate girls they educate generations.

We are sharing country with beasts

When it comes to federal appointments they forget about quota system and fill the positions with the same so called educationally disadvantaged people. Any wonder why Nigeria is still a backward nation with all the resources and after 60 years of independence? When the dullest people are in charge of our affairs.
