President Muhammadu Buhari can only have one sided conversation with Nigerians on twitter, a visit to his twitter feed has shown, VAM News reports.

Recall that the president disabled the reply to his Twitter feed at about 5:06pm on September 30th, 2020 when he tweeted about the railway project he approved.

Again, the tweet he regularly sends out can no longer be engaged by Nigerians who always take advantage of the social media app to express their grievance or support for government policies.

The move is strange for a public figure because the feedback mechanism help them to assess their popularity or policies.

VOICE AIR MEDIA confirmed that the tweet can't be replied.

The president had tweeted about the Coronavirus vaccines at 1:16pm today, November 10.

He tweeted; "I welcome the news that a Coronavirus vaccine has recorded ninety percent effectiveness in clinical trials. This is a major milestone. The world must now make great effort to facilitate equitable access and distribution of these vaccines, to protect people in All countries."

Nigerians on Twitter are currently reacting to the decision of the presidency to lock the comment section of the Tweet above on the President's official handle.

However, the comment section of the tweets was locked, making it impossible for Nigerians to share their thoughts on the Coronavirus vaccine.

While some kicked against the decision to lock the comment section, others pointed out that the presidency opted for the decision to lock the comment section because Nigerians have in recent times spammed the comment section of any of President Buhari's tweets with ''I follow back'', ''Please Follow back''.

This Newspaper learnt that the President has three social media handlers - Tolu Ogunlesi, Bashir Ahmad and Lauretta Onuchie. They are the ones that tweet with the handle. It is clear if they alerted the president before disabling the feedback mechanism of his tweeter.

Buhari cannot take 1/3 of what he dished out to others!!!

He knows that his policies are bad and cannot withstand the criticism which will enable the world to know how bad of a leader he is

That's a good job from the presidential media team.

Instead of getting constructive response, either criticism or otherwise, Nigerian youths have turned the president's tweet to an avenue for building their number of twitter followers.

The only comment you see is "IFB ".

After missing the message of the tweet, people like Reno Omokiri would take his own time to mislead them on the true meaning of the message and they all begin to wail

Even as much as people dislike Trump, his tweets would always get criticism.
But in Nigeria, they are waiting for Reno Omokiri to explain the tweet to them in a way that would cause them pains

Those who can't take criticism don't have confidence in the strength of their arguments.

I wonder why people follow a terrorist illiterate on twitter. He is so daft, he can't even operate a twitter account. Every tweet you see on that account is from his zombies that he pays to run it.

He can't take the heat. I know someone else is managing the account on his behalf but whoever is that should be able to absorb heat and withstand trying times not locking the comment section. If he flares away from public views, how then does he deserve salary?

I think it is a good idea for him to block comments. The pilgrimage to that place by Igbos is getting out of control.

I don't think Buhari has ever tweeted in his life, his brain is too dead for that. It's his aides behind those meaningless tweets.

Buhari is often been constrained to address Nigerians when needful and will not want to engage his citizens in an interact discussion. Why? The president should have open himself to criticism; be it constructive or otherwise.

Even world leaders like the US president-Donald Trump, Borris Johnson(Britain) Macron(France), Justin Trudeau(Canada) are constantly being criticized let alone an intolerant man of the president kind.

When you get tired of a particular situation, you won't bother being a part of it anymore.

People need action, not tweets.

Those people are just tired of the system, the tweets that don't yield any fruitful outcome. So they post those stuff just to let you know that they don't care about whatever you have to say anymore, until you start acting.

No matter what President deserve respect from his subjects but because of ethno-religious bigotry some people abandoned the teachings of their scripture for hate. Government seriously need to close all baby factories for our country to have senseful generation!
