Work boots for men - ultimate buying guide Congratulations! You've found a great job! Now comes the time to equip yourself properly to get work! You have the right tools, the right clothing, but will you find the right work boots at your feet?

Indeed, all jobs are not equivalent, and working conditions vary from a job to another. Choosing work boots for your job will have directly a good or bad influence on your work.

Finding the right work boots matching your needs is then very important! It is for you that we create this guide, so you will now know what you need to look for when buying your work boots! Identify your needs Many work accidents can occur when you are poorly equipped for your work. The first thing to do is to find out about the different risks associated with your work.
These risks may be:
-penetration of foreign things into the plant or side of the foot;
-projection of welding, corrosive or irritating liquids, or molten metal;
-exposure to water and mud;
-the risk of snakebite;
-fall of heavy or sharp objects;
-use of scales;
-electric shock;
-etc...
Here is a list of relatively safe work boots that we found on footwearjoy although intended for plumbers its good for all blue-collar professions, and it gives some great recommendations...
Then you identify these risks, you can now look for suitable work boots for your working conditions. Choosing the best one Here are the key points you will need to look for when you want to buy your work boots. Safety toes: This security is very important if you are an artisan or work in an industrial environment. With the risk of dropping heavy objects on your feet, your work shoes must be equipped with a toe protector. There are 3 different kinds (steel, composite, and aluminum) that you can choose according to your needs. Steel guards are the most used, but they have the disadvantage of being heavier and more compact.

You may feel a heaviness in your toes. Aluminum protections are thicker than steel but are lighter while complying with safety standards. Composite protections are made of fibers of carbon fiber, plastic or Kevlar. Although lighter they meet safety standards but are thicker than aluminum or steel. They have the advantage of not transferring heat or cold compared to aluminum and steel.

They are therefore ideal for those working in extreme temperature conditions, and also for metal-free environments. Metatarsal Guard is also important extra protection for your toes. Some of its protections are made of Kevlar fibers, which resist firing to protect completely your feet if you work in the welding, or in a large fire, in order to avoid the burns. Soles: There are a lot of soles today for work boots. The majority are made of durable and wear-resistant materials.

You may find non-slip work boots if you are working on muddy terrain, and protective soles to avoid the penetration of sharp objects like nails for example in your shoes. The rubber soles are very resistant and non-slip. It provides efficiency on both wet and dry surfaces. The TPU (Thermos Poly Urethane) soles are much more durable and also offer good resistance to chemical products.

They are harder but lighter than rubber. Comfort: Since you will spend several hours working in your boots, you need to make sure that they provide you a comfortable comfort. It will be necessary to find work boots whose shape is adequate to your foot. Also find a shoe to the right size, as this is really important if you do not want to spend all your evenings to get your feet massaged because you had a long day, even if it remains enjoyable. Well, you now know everything you need to get the right work boot on your feet!

This is a very durable shoe, but it's not very comfortable to wear in urban conditions.

It depends on the shoes. As an ex-military man, I like strong, quality shoes, which are hard to find these days. I spend a lot of time on my feet and am always looking for good shoes. Last year I changed two pairs of so-called work boots until I read everything about tactical boots and chose the right ones for me. What you can buy at the mass market now is a poor-quality imitation of boots. And uncomfortable shoes can be shoes that don't fit you. For example, once a friend of mine bought French army boots a size bigger, they chafed him terribly, and he couldn't walk in them for a long time.
