See disparaging comments from haters because it is news from Igboland. If it were to be in their ethnic zone, they would shamelessly be chestbeating and saying sh*t like "Proudly omoluabi"...but now it is in Enugu, it is poor architecture but meanwhile, their parents are still living in brown-roofed clay houses near rocks and caves where this kind of structure will take 600 years to come to be built in their zone.

Igboland is Nigerialand. Wherever in Nigeria fantastic things stands, it makes majority of us proud. I’m always battling with foreigners all over the new mediasphere and there are many Nigerians with me, and we are always looking for great developments in Nigeria to use in our battles. Niaraland is not what it seems; don’t let it be your barometer for what we are.

I can see Ken Onoh pointing at the sign board. To be honest, this is a very poor design aesthetically for a bustop shelter. They probably gave the contract to a village architect in Nsukka.

Enugu uses just proper local contractors for all their jobs....with emphasis on the word local!

If a bus stop 12 inches from u , we assume he is not serious , we wait for another bus

U can live in enugu for 25 yrs and never witnessed hold up or serious traffic issues

You’re right about disparaging comments being made mainly because it concerns news from Igboland! There’s constructive criticism aimed mainly at the issue concerned....and then there’s pure bile targeted at the entire region just for a bus stop! shocked

Having said that, i feel modern day bus stops shouldn’t be built as if they’re building a house...unless it’s a major terminus or interchange! Ugwuanyi isn’t known for modern, cutting-edge designs and constructions!

That bus stop does not make sense. A modern structure does not need all those solid structures. I am very they have spent millions on it. Mediocrity is just too much.

My brother, the contractor and the ministry who approved this have very poor taste. A simple search on pintrest would have given them some cutting edge ideas better than this incenator I'm seeing here.
To make matters worse, this will come at a cost for another government to demolish and build modern bus stations.

Besides most families get car for here, we don't trek like Lagosians , just very few of us use public transport , most workers here use company or government bus

So this bus stop is even too big , u see anyone there ?

This isn't appropriate for a bus shelter. I have noticed that most of these shelters are usually left unkept, most time over taken by mad men thereby driving away its original users.
2. It also becomes a flashpoint as miscreants usually take advantage of it poor lighting and loneliness to attack people.
