ofcourse, I don't expect you to attest to the fact SS can't get the necessary development because they don't have control over their God given natural resources. If Zamfara didn't have control of gold, a whole governor won't call a meeting make this the agenda for discussion. You can't tell me you have a first hand information concerning this situation that a governor.
.

Just like resource control, the SS is now on taking it further higher . ......the Governors and the region must get same treatment given to Zamfara.

Very good development. I hope they won't just hold meeting drinking coffee and speaking grammar. They must stand their ground. If the north wants to enjoy their gold alone, then let south south enjoy their oil alone.
.if the north wants to practice their useless, evil ,barbaric, cursed sharia, then all herdsmen must be banned from coming into the south with cows. The tax generated from alcohol must be separated and shared between only southern states.
The SW and SE leaders too must stand up and speak up. Enough of the senseless diplomacy and sophistication. You can not sit and fold your arms while some people claiming one Nigeria continue to cheat and kolobi everything for themselves. It is not by force to live as one. If e nor work make all man find their way.

What a clever response. Your education is not a waste like that fella. What a repulsive human being calling himself a patriot.

with regionalism our problems would become local and we can begin from our percularities.

Nothing concerns me with Islamic terrorists who destroy themselves in desert and my resources accounts for it.

If we have local security challenge we can address it locally once it's draining our budget.

We can always elect people that are within us, not some almajiris that doesn't understand civilization.

No matter how bad the current states governors are once you draw all federal powers to that state or region the people would begin to succeed on their own even without government because power is local.

Go and claim resources of Europe and America then. These settlements predate Nigeria that came from amalgamation of 1914. Please reason well.

Zamfara state used the so called 'Bandits' to keep their gold.

South South should no just involve in talks alone.
Maybe it's time for them to use

PANDEF
MEND
Avengers.
And any other name militant groups could come up with.

There was a country.

If only you knew/ recall how many times this same card has been played only to achieve nothing and everybody moves on as if nothing happened.
In as much as Nigerian governors keep governing from Abuja and running to Aso Rock for their political pilgrimage, then expect nothing and this will only generate some buzz and then wither out as always and I'm not being a pessimist but past antecedents left zero room for any modicum of optimism from these bunch of megalomaniac's currently leading Nigeria back to the state of nature.

It can't work well like that. Do you know some States are naturally deprived of natural resources?
Controlling of resources by States will also cause incessant war amongst States. They'll fight over some resources.
Regional Government is the best

The oil in Texas and the Dakotas states are not shared to other 47 states. Are those other states not part of America? Taxes and royalties are only paid to the central govt. All states run their own local economy same is applicable to regional govts in France and Spain. Why is Nigeria an exception that all states go cap in hand to Abuja at the end of every month to collect allocation. How can there be development.

When the north wants to make a decision concerning the north they all meet and discuss and make a collective decision, there's no way leaders from 19 states would meet the they won't make a decision that Nigeria won't shake.

But if in the south they want to mam a decision only SW would meet or only SS would meet or only SE would meet at the end their decisions won't hold any ground.

The SS is holding a meeting on their own concerning oil thats found in other southern regions, other southern regions should boycott the meeting and any decision they make.
You really made sense bro.. When ondo, Abia and Imo States have oil as well

Regionalism aka Restructuring CANNOT work. SELF DETERMINATION is the only solution. Let everyone answer der papa name. Because with regionalism, unrestricted migration is still a HUGE factor. Those who destroy their region will simply flock in their millions to your own region, and the Constitution gives them a right to reside anywhere within the Nigeria territory. But with Self Determination, people will need Visa, you can control your borders, and you can protect yourself from huge influx of millions of externals coming to drain your budget and put huge pressure on your infrastructure, or cause infrastructural degradation at a much faster rate than normal. Take Lagos for example, look at the unrestricted population influx into Lagos, that is literally choking the life out of the city. The consequences is that despite the huge annual budget, Lagos is still a shithole, because it has to cater for millions more people than it can handle to remain effective and developed.

we have to start from somewhere.

More powers stripped from federal is what makes the self determination possible.

You don't expect Islamic parasitic almajiris who have never helped themselves to one day be open to disintegration
