Because everybody is a human right activist as long as you are speaking the mind of the people.

We did not make it a career or business to show that we are into activism.

Ogbuu101:

Olisa Agbakoba is what?
Have you heard of Chima Ubani?
What of Chidi Odinkalu?
Amala and gbegiri is not good for your brain

No point insulting him. He only pointed out what he noticed. Now let's point out to him.what he ignored.

Traditionally, as you must have learnt in your elementary Government and History, the Igbo are acephalous, never pandering towards any central figure. Rather, an average Igbo person knows his own mind and fight his own battle. While the others may have centrally known activists, every Igbo man and woman is an activist, fighting in a way that best suit his ability and beliefs.

Aba women riot (1929) is a reference point. Can you kindly tell us the name of the leader? Maybe not cos they are far interested in getting the job done than pushing for accolades and recognition. Probably, that riot inspired Funmilayo Kuti to start Egba Women Congress (1943), that waged similar war.

Exactly.
Every Igbo man is an active Human Rights fighter while some people always call a thiefnuubu to come and fight for them.
Same reason Igbos were wailing as much as the bereaved when osama buhari was killing the shias while oil soup ppl were waiting for the go ahead b4 they open their mouth.
Same reason godfatherism does not thrive in Igbo cos every man is a king in his household

Have you heard of Chima Ubani,? please it is foolhardy and silly to contort such statement as igbos don't have human rights activists .
The Aba women riots of 1929, who were they?
what about Olisa Agbakoba? google him and shudder.
Professor Chidi Odinkalu
Sir Arthur nwankwo
Dr Udenta Udenta
etc.
To cure your stupidity, Chima Ubani was your firebrand human rights activists who faught for June 12 actualization and was a leading nadeco figure when the likes of tinubu were in exile.
Nnandi Kalu, you may not like him but he is human rights activists give Nigerian government shivers in their spine.

I guess the situation exits because Yoruba joined the northern regional elites to prosecute a war against Ndigbo and Biafrans. During the period of war, Ndigbo saw exactly what Yoruba person represents, a turncoat.
So Professor Wole Soyinka is what? Is he not Yorùbá?

You hate the truth and reality just to justify your hatred towards Yorùbá.
