PDP zoned the ticket to South and Ekweme lost to Obasanjo. AD was a regional party of Yoruba and automatically their ticket was given to a Yoruba man.

No major party would do microzoning. It is either North or South.

A serious piece of advice for the Igbo:

Establish and nurture a regional party like your APGA. Ensure that it wins the governorship of all your five states. There and then you can bargain from the position of strength (and not this begging you are doing now). This was the approach of the political grandmasters from the south west. You need to learn from Tinubu not this hating on him because he did not cause your political misfortune. For now, the Igbo can not be on the ballot of any big political party.
