Even if both APC and PDP zone their presidential tickets to the south east, an igbo man will still not rule Nigeria.

It's time igbo people realized that the coup of 1966 will hunt them even to the tenth generation.

That singular act of 1966 set this country completely on reverse gear. Cos what followed was counter coups and more coups.

Them Don Start, those Inyamiris, their problem is, unlike the Abokis, they lack common political calculation.

The presidency is not given to any region on a golden platter. It is also not taken by confrontation, subterfuge, guiles or by force. After the Igbos esp on soc media and nairaland abuse peoples of every region they now want those region to support them for the presidency. Recently they burnt mosques and looted Hausa shops in Onitcha and they are remorseless abt it. No. The kanuris of the NE too deserves the presidency since they like, the igbos, have a region, language, culture and tradition of their own separate from the Hausa/Fulani

PDP zoned the ticket to South and Ekweme lost to Obasanjo. AD was a regional party of Yoruba and automatically their ticket was given to a Yoruba man.

No major party would do microzoning. It is either North or South.

A serious piece of advice for the Igbo:

Establish and nurture a regional party like your APGA. Ensure that it wins the governorship of all your five states. There and then you can bargain from the position of strength (and not this begging you are doing now). This was the approach of the political grandmasters from the south west. You need to learn from Tinubu not this hating on him because he did not cause your political misfortune. For now, the Igbo can not be on the ballot of any big political party. Definitely, an Igbo man will be the candidate of APGA.

I wish you the best as you seek political relevance in Nigeria.

2023 should be the turn of South East, but since something is not alright, we will be behind anyone from the north, we have to redeem our image.

2023 elections is going to be a do or die affair, should incase south east did not contest for Presidential election, we south east will do everything possible to redeem a northern Presidential candidate

South west does not exist as far as 2023 election is concerned, they will not see any vote from South east and south south, as I said earlier, there's image to redeem, all the insults south east and south south have received from South West would be settled during 2023 elections, a lesson needs be taught.

We will rather vote and support a Goat or a Cow from the North than to support anyone from South West, since they don't want to support us, we will never support them, this is South East Youth Wing decision, remember we are in Democracy, Government of the people, by the people and for the people.

When the north and the SW fled to the APC, while insulting every PDP loyalist in sight, the East stood by It.

The Northeners that have deserted the PDP at its weakest moment are now back to reap where they did not sow or to perpetuate a northern hegemony.

The south east should crash the PDP, if it does not run an Igbo ticket in 2023.
True. But in all honesty, do you think an igbo pdp candidate would actually an Apc SW/SS candidate? Pdp understands that giving an easterner the party's ticket is automatic loss. But it's actually good igbos are putting pdp on its toes.

Well, they tried atiku and It WAS an automatic lose.

Buhari had automatic losses three good times before he won.

There are no certainties in politics.

No ethnic group is condemned to lose if the atmosphere is right.

If PDP does not zone It to the east, they should leave the party.

And what makes them think the grass is greener on the other side...that they will get the presidential ticket on the other side? Of course Ndigbo haven’t fared well by way of infrastructural development, however we don’t exist outside the hellhole that is Nigeria! Besides, i lay more blame at the doorstep of the useless, self-centred, greedy and subservient Igbo political elite in the PDP from 1999 to 2015! I know they never had the presidency, but they were in and around the center of power during the period in question and yet did near fuckall! Now they’re crying that PDP didn’t treat them well! Fools!

As far as i’m concerned, they’re all useless saboteur house-niggers, and slaves to their greed, lust for power and their Fulani masters! I’d gladly line them all up and get rid of them....they’re a huge part of our problem as a ethnic group!

Hausa/fulani already hate PDP. When Umahi and other Igbos leave what will be left will be skeleton. Only Cameroonians will vote for them in 2023.
That's why their major goal should be satisfying the south East.
The north can come and go.

Anybody that is convincing them otherwise hates the party.

Foolish move...a carmel will enter heaven before Nigeria gets an igbo president....APC might probably field an osinbanjo/lamido or osinbanjo/el-rufai which gives them SW and Northern Nigeria already enough to win the election...

PDP still remains a party for igbos except they want to go into oblivion by fielding atiku come 2023..... if they're smart they'll probably field Peter Obi for president and probably try to pitch zulum of borno state... They'll make a dent, but it's isn't guarantee of winning...

Truth be told SE holds little political influence to win elections, with high voter aparthy and distrust among their southern neighbors, their arrogance and bad behavior known to most nigerians it's impossible, their only hope is to push for restructuring...but APC knows that giving presidency to the SE is political suicide, na why even PDP dey fear give them because as them loyal reach PDP votes for north still pass SE
do you think zulum will defect to Pdp just to be vice president? with his current stanning he could easily get it in the APC or just run a second term....

Truth be be told he probably would never defect, I only said that because that's the only credible person that can pull votes for a party like PDP fielding a SE candidate... it's why they couldn't do it for years, it's why APC wouldn't even go for it.

They can go if they want to. The last thing any sensible Nigerian will want to do now is vote for APC. APC is a curse to the average Nigerian. Its either we restructure or forget the Nigerian union. We will not pass through this suffering again. We the youths and lovers of good life will find a worthy candidate to drag Nigeria out of the sinking pit both PDP & APC have put us in. When the time is right, we will show the thugs that there is actual strength in numbers.
We would rather Nigeria burn than APC govern Nigeria again.
