One thing that still baffles me is how Federal roads in Lagos were allowed to be demarcated in such a way that 50% of the road meant for everybody is diverted to generate revenue for 'state onwed' BRT and it's operators.
Half of the roads in traffic prone routes are dedicated to the handful BRT buses. Buses that are very much less than 1% of all vehicles in Lagos, while the whole lot of the 99% struggle for the rest 50%. If it is truly for the interest of the masses, then all commercial passenger buses should be allowed to ply those lanes too.
