Correct one. I suggest they take it even further by maintaining a record of all detainees and prisoners that will include biometric data like fingerprints and head count. Anyone going in must be properly accounted for by conviction or evidence. Interrogation must have videos back ups and blind spot cameras and views. |

We have many laws in this country to make this nation great,but our leaders have deliberately refused to do the needful hence the decay and rot in the country now. So many people are remanded in prisons for longer periods than their convictions would have been. Sad |

That's how LOW the Judiciary in Nigeria has fallen and been bastardized. Otherwise, by Constitutional powers the Police should be directly under the oversight of the State commissioner of Justice.
