Correct one. I suggest they take it even further by maintaining a record of all detainees and prisoners that will include biometric data like fingerprints and head count. Anyone going in must be properly accounted for by conviction or evidence. Interrogation must have videos back ups and blind spot cameras and views.

We have many laws in this country to make this nation great, but our leaders have deliberately refused to do the needful hence the decay and rot in the country now.

So many people are remanded in prisons for longer periods than their convictions would have been.

Sad

The leaders did not fall from mars.... they are picked from among Nigerians and they have been picked from Nigerians for 60 consecutive years ..... so this means Nigerians can't lead statistically speaking.....

That's how LOW the Judiciary in Nigeria has fallen and been bastardized. Otherwise, by Constitutional powers the Police should be directly under the oversight of the State commissioner of Justice. In America, the Police is under the DOJ, but I just don't understand the type of banana republic Democracy Nigeria claims to be practicing. Fela is right. Nigeria own na DemoCRAZY! Demonstration of Craze

If this can be done, it would go a long way to reduce unnecessary arrest and denial of bail where arrest is made.

Saying that our leaders "are picked from among nigerians", is true in a sense but it blurs reality. Reality is that our leaders are a recycled bunch. Coming & going, changing baton like a relay team
