Unless these guys are planning to not face the consequences of their actions by dying in office like Abacha, they need to understand that the same compendium of rights as citizens that they’re enjoying which enables them to hold office and even prosecute other people is the same one that others must enjoy from.

There’s nothing that anyone can do about it: it is a right of every citizen and it stops being so when the constitution is modified accordingly.
