I watched a video where amechi said those protesting are children of the rich and comfortable people having fun. He said when the real poor protest there will be no hiding place.

Now look at the endsars protest that had alot of Nigerian celebrities leading and attending the protest. It was fun and like if you are a celebrity and you dont turn up for this party, you will be cancelled. Everyone got in, added their voice and took pics for social media.

At the end of the day, ordinary people were shot and wounded/killed by hoodlums and military. Non of the celebrities was harmed.

What then happened after that? New uniform is made available for the same people.

Government takes their time to observe the youths and celebs who got involved. Less than a month after, they have all moved on so fast with thier normal lives.

They are releasing albums, comedians doing skits, davido spending on diamond, some buying cars and showing off.

These people know that this was just a party they engaged in out of boredom from the pandemic lockdown and end of big brother naija.

So what next? .Government begins to single them out and intimidate those involved. Because there was no unity and sense of purpose in the first place, everyone has gone back to having fun. Those that died, did in vain. Those singled out have to fight their battles themselves to free themselves from the shackles of the government.

They say " attack is the best defense". Since the youth failed to intimidate the government, let the government intimidate them. If the government was intimidated or scared of the youth, they would not even think of arresting anyone in connection with the protest. Because doing so will lead to a more dangerous protest that could overthrow the government.

But looking at the status and updates of those who were active in the protest, its obvious they have moved on. But the government hasn't.

If not that it was just a carnival like Amechi said, why is nobody protesting the detention of those linked to the protest? Isn't the arrest of these people enough to spark another protest?

But the party is over, all man for himself.
