There is NO time people didn't talk about Igbo presidency. To tell you the truth, it is dead on arrival. APC may end up having a Yoruba flagbearer( don't rule out a Northerner). PDP would field a Northerner and if APC fields a Southerner the PDP will win.

The South lost her influence in 2015. Some Igbo failed to turn up at the polls. A significant chunk of the Yoruba vote went for Buhari. Those votes changed the whole dynamics.

Since 1999 till date, the North has never voted for a Southerner in an election you have a Northern candidate. I don't see that changing anytime soon. The best bet of the Igbo would have been to remain in the PDP and take the vice presidency slot.

In all, I think being president or vice is irrelevant. What we should be pushing for is the right legislative reforms that would empower our respective ethnic nations.

Igbo Presidency is good but how realistic given their voting strength? I will strongly advise PDP retain zoning it's presidency to the North as the abokis will always vote their own. I see victory for PDP if this happens and APC comes down south.

I'm from Ebonyi state, and I can assure you that Umahi knew he wouldn't have won reelection if he had defected to APC before election. We were noticing his nonsense fraternization with APC but we weren't sure. But now he has defected, I can assure you he is so dead and buried like Akpabio in Akwa Ibom.

We forbid anything APC in my state.
