All the current SE governors are APC

This Umahi even donated to Buhari's second term campaign team

The one in Enugu never welcomed Atiku and Obi when they visited his state for campaigns and offered zero efforts and funding for Atiku but when Buhari visited he was personally at the airport when Buhari arrived and will later eescort him back.

The one in Abia takes orders from Orji Kalu.

That mad man in Anambra made it painfully obvious he was not supporting Atiku because of Peter Obi..

Igbos could not rally for Atiku because he chose Peter Obi a fellow Igbo man.

And we all saw how Mbaka tried embarrassing Peter Obi and refused to endorse him but quickly accepted cash gifts from Ganduje on behalf of Buhari .
..
Is this how they want their Igbo presidency ? When they can't even support their own for VP?

See how Yorubas rallied behind osinbanjo and contrast with the open level of jealousy , hatred and envy displayed by Igbos towards Obi

If they won't support their own is it me that will vote in an Igbo president ?

Afonjas are truly judases.

Even as a PDP apologist, I support Umahi.

Now everyone is talking about Igbo presidency.

There is NO time people didn't talk about Igbo presidency. To tell you the truth, it is dead on arrival. APC may end up having a Yoruba flagbearer( don't rule out a Northerner). PDP would field a Northerner and if APC fields a Southerner the PDP will win.

The South lost her influence in 2015. Some Igbo failed to turn up at the polls. A significant chunk of the Yoruba vote went for Buhari. Those votes changed the whole dynamics.

Since 1999 till date, the North has never voted for a Southerner in an election you have a Northern candidate. I don't see that changing anytime soon. The best bet of the Igbo would have been to remain in the PDP and take the vice presidency slot.

In all, I think being president or vice is irrelevant. What we should be pushing for is the right legislative reforms that would empower our respective ethnic nations.

What's happening in Nigeria have happened in other African countries but Southern and Middle Belt Nigerians are too daft to learn.

The Janjaweeed is coming for us,

I don't know why Janjaweeed is censored on Nairaland.

They change it to "APC supporters"

Is APC same thing as Janjaweeed?

Janjaweeed is the security MiyettiAllah want to deploy to all over Nigeria.

Being president matters because it is the president who will ensure a favorable climate for those radical legislative reform you are talking about.

You would wanna say that the legislature is independent but you know how things go here.

That's why it is usually important who becomes the president.

Very funny, we heard so much about a bigger politician than him Apkabio noise. But he was humbled big time, talkless of a small masquerade like Umahi.

Stupidity is when you forget where you are from and want to bring an Islamic party into Ebonyi, Umahi must be mad. He was against Peter Obi, he is against Ipob , maybe Gombe and Jigawa people will support him as President

So if ATIKU wins primaries under PDP and UMAHI wins primaries under APC, who will u vote for as a president?

Igbo Presidency is good but how realistic given their voting strength? I will strongly advise PDP retain zoning it's presidency to the North as the abokis will always vote their own. I see victory for PDP if this happens and APC comes down south.

If APC micro zones president to SW APC will win irrespective whr PDP zones president to.

I doubt if north will support SE presidency they still comfortable with SW much more than any region in the south.

With current situations in naija APC cannot imaging retaining presidency

One of the most sensible comment I have seen so far.... If they can't support themselves how would the rest of Nigeria vote for a person from that region...

APC a party rejected by everybody even his senators and reps. He just killed his career that party is for the. For him also to be rejected be the senators and Members of the house of rep meaning the house of assembly won’t join him so he also has a battle of impeachment

Igbos wanted a president not a vp, so it was natural that they snorbed PDP presidency
You want Igbo presidency so badly but u could not support your own son Peter Obi to be VP. Very illogical..

The South South got the presidency through the vice president. If the South South had rejected the VP post in 2007 they would never have produced the president in Nigeria.

Go and learn about how the Yorubas the rolled out the drums to support Buhari and Osinbajo in 2015. It's mainly because they were given the VP slot. It was a rude shock to me to learn that the Yorubas gave more votes to Atiku/Obi than the Igbos despite the fact than an Igbo was on the ticket while no Yoruba was on the ticket. This is shameful.

Let the APC give it's presidential ticket to Igbo and let the PDP pick a Northerner with a Yoruba deputy and see how the Yorubas will support the PDP because of their son.

I expected the Igbos to learn some lessons from the Yorubas.
