The Federal Government Has Said It Will Resume Meeting With The ASUU On Friday. by Reckyjrmiyagy(m): 7:12am On Nov 19, 2020
Following the issue of the FG and ASUU strike the federal has promised to hold a meeting with the ASUU committee on Friday. This information was gotten from their official Twitter handle, which stated that;

"The Federal Government has said it will resume meeting with the Academic Staff Union of Universities on Friday."

It also went further to explain the IPPIS the causes of the delay and while the payment structure brought by the federal government was rejected by the ASUU. It stated This from the thread on Twitter;

"The Ministry of Labour and Employment disclosed this on Wednesday night.

1. The parley is expected to address various pending issues, including the contentious payment platform preferred by the union"

"Recalled that ASUU had opposed the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System(IPPIS) used in settling workers’ salaries by the FG and instead, developed the University Transparency and Accountability."
