I watched one program today on Human Rights Radio/Television called BREKETE FAMILY. Some expatriates from Turkey allegedly maltreated a Nigerian lady they employed as their cook, mandated her to be sleeping in the kitchen for for about three years.
The worst is that when she threatened to report them to Nigerian Police, they told her 'police come, we give 2000 everybody go'.
When the Ordinary President asked them to pay the lady off in the tune of 400.000 naira, so as to strike a balance between the 500.000 she demanded and 300.000 they offered, so that the will settle, they refused. Then Nigerians started calling to indicate interest and take up the matter against the expatriates.
One noteworthy thing is the expression of concern irrespective of tribe and/or ethnicity. I tell you Nigerians still love themselves.

Nigerian leaders have failed its citizens right from the inception of this geographical expression called Nigeria..

In saner climes, the expatriate would be languishing in jail now..

This is a multiply effect of leadership and systemic failure. These foreigners are doing what they dare not try in their country.

This is what you get when the government don't value citizens' right and existence.
