The strike by federal ASUU is mostly because of IPPIS, state owned universities are not mandated to be on IPPIS, so there is no need for any state governor to be paying salaries to their state lecturers who have refused to go back to work because of their sympathy strike with the nationall ASUU.
As a matter of fact, all state governors should direct all state universities to open with immediate effect and let the federal universities carry their cross afterall, they even earn better than their state counterparts. The strike by federal ASUU is mostly because of IPPIS, state owned universities are not mandated to be on IPPIS, so there is no need for any state governor to be paying salaries to their state lecturers who have refused to go back to work because of their sympathy strike with the nationall ASUU.
