Nigerian musician, singer, and the youngest son of famous afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, Oluseun Anikulapo Kuti, has described the recent attempt by the Nigerian government to stop an #endsars meeting at the African Shrine, as Tyrannical.

Speaking to Arise TV, the singer said it was a meeting to discuss #ENDSARS lessons, and wanted the people to be part of it so as to hear their opinions but the government who does not respect the Voice of the people, didn't see any reason why anything with people is not a protest, so they banned the meeting, and for the government to ban a meeting, it means we are back to the Tryanical days of Abacha where meetings can not hold without oppression from the government.

Okay...

How can the government sit back and fold their hands and watch people engage in a democratic practice of joining a social assembly?

How?

When the rulership is threatened?

Youngest son, and you are looking so drawn, more drawn than your father when he was decades beyond your age?

Cannabis?

The usual dumb attempt at attacking the messenger rather than the message. What rulership is threatened.

It is within your rights to hold meetings as long it doesn't infringe on the rights of other people. Can you tell us if any law is being broken here? I hope we are not sliding back to dictatorship.
You cannot hold meetings, they contemplating how to regulate social media, the signs are ominous.
