Agbegbaorogboye:

That's because you expect the workmen and other factors to still remain the same.
You remember that arithmetic of "if it takes X men y days to build a road, how many days will it take z men working at same pace?" All the variables for the "facts" you need are right there.
Stop bringing your basic arithmetic into contract process.
There are processes that a project has to go through if you are reviewing a contract.
This includes the design
Another award letter that will pass through ministry justice, procurement and so many others...

It's not just about increasing the numbers of workers on site only

When will Buhari and his kitchen cabinet admit any fault than blaming anybody. Am yet to see. If they are tired, they all including empty brain president should resign let the youth take over. Nonsense

A road like that should have been three lanes from inception.

Now you're deviating from your initial post. This one you're talking about now is contact award process. It's the same whether it's two lanes or three lanes.
You seemed to insinuate the contract completion time will be extended because it's now three lanes.

Passengers in an Abuja-kaduna bound train lamented after their train broke down on the middle of nowhere for over 2 hours without any help coming from Railway cooperation.

The visibly distraught passengers had no option than to disembark from their coaches, wilt some sitting down on the rail tracks as they patiently wait for technicians to come fix the train.

Read again, Fashola said the road approval for 3lanes was rejected. He was not happy about the length and process it took to get an approval that was eventually rejected.

So just like that because senate requested and president agreed, a road just changes from 2 lane to 3 Lane overnight!

No serious analysis was done with respect to vehicle flow on that road, long term demands etc. That axis already has train planned, which should be the long term focus for passenger and freight, yet the senators selfishly wanted it expanded to enjoy their luxury vehicles.

Government should remove itself from running these train services otherwise by 2025 mark my words, it would have fallen to pieces.

Fashola Is very s2_pid. He's been economical with the truth.

He's only trying to shift the goal Post. Right from the award of the contract it was designed for three Lane brother.

I don't blame him I blame PMB for not sacking him for failure to finish the work as an when due.
