Mr. Kalu Prince-Iroha former Special Assistant to Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has expressed satisfaction with the level of infrastructure in his Abia North district, saying their ancestors are happy with it. In a chat with ABN TV on Saturday, he attributed it to the efforts of Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, senator representing the district in the Senate. The Former Director, Abia State Grassroots Sports Development Initiatives (ABGRASOD), an Abia State Ministry of Sports PPP Sports Development Initiatives stated that his Abia community in Ohafia LGA made efforts to raise N5 million to make their road passable, a project he said was difficult. According to him, their burden was lifted when Sen. Kalu, Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate intervened and graded the road for them. He said the area is wearing a new look, expressing gratitude to the former Abia governor. He also used the opportunity to announce his defection to the APC.
