Oga transformer no dey generate electricity, na generator, Gas turbines, windmills, hydrodams like Kanji et al dem dey take generate electricity.

Transformer na to change the Voltage, ok.

For the transformer on the street, 11kv or 33kv comes in, usually three wires (three phase). Then 415V comes out, usually 4 wires ( three phase, one neutral.). If you connect single phase (=one phase, one neutral), you'll get 240V. If you connect without neutral (two or three phase without neutral) you'll get 415V.

What in the world is this nonsense?

He plugs in 240 V through some decorative piece of nonsense and looking at the output on the bulb, passes out less than 240V.

Please what did he transform?

1. Either he took a DC input, converted it to AC and used this decorative mess to call an inverter a Transformer

2. He took an AC input, added a decorative mess and lots of unnecessary wiring to add resistance and eventually created a voltage drop at the output end

Either way... no talent found. Just a waste of time

If you studied elect/elect. you'll know that he has done nothing. What he has done is to construct an inverter. The real challenge is power generation.
