On electricity...it costs N53 to produce one kwh of electricity Labour and nigeriians want us to sell that same kwh at n30 and below... Meaning Nigerian electricity companies lose N20 per kwh of power sld. As for subsidy....price controls is the reason why we have bad r efinereis, and are buying from Niger, a country that has good refinereis because they sell their fuel above the 'market price'. If you want power and ptrol to flow easily......ALLOW THE MARKET SET THE PRICE...not government. We have wasted trillions of naira subsidsing petrol and power, and that's trillions that could have gone for other and beter thing.s |
