but do you know a diplomatic tactic could have been deployed and a platform between IPOB and federal government initiated to discuss on secession and maybe by now Biafra would have been granted and SE excised from Nigeria.

Have you heard of MASSOB? It was started by a Lawyer called Ralph Uwazurike. He used diplomatic channels. Uwazurike never used hate speech, he never insulted anybody, he was non violent, he was as peaceful as can be, he wanted dialogue and discussion

The federal government clamped down on him, invaded his home multiple times, killed many of his members, detained him time without number and charged him for treason multiple times. Uwazurike and IPOB were dealt with even more than Kanu and IPOB

Trust me, the federal government is not a respecter of gentlemen like Uwazurike.
