Not tribalism, it depends on the landlord in question and his experience with past Igbo tenants.

Imagine renting your house to someone and within few months, they start packing themselves in six into a room and damaging your properties, how will you feel?

Most Igbos on that Instablog even said Igbo landlords in Lagos even don’t like renting their houses to their fellow Igbos too sometimes.

When desk with another tribe, you are a symbol of your tribe.the way you treat the fellow wouly make him treat other people from your tribe well or bad. Set good precedence. This is why nigerians are suspect in every sirpo

Lets be honest, nobody likes anybody in Nigeria especially Igbos. The Igbos are the least desired of all Nigerian tribes in marriage, as neighbors, in commerce, mostly for no just reason.

Lol. You better stop bringing 13 people to sleep in a single room and owing multiple rent and shaming yourself.

Even Igbo landlord don’t want to rent their houses to fellow Igbos coz they no wan here stories that touch.

There is general believe that igbos are troublesome tenants.

Because they always desperate about money, they always try to outsmart the landlords.

The fact of the matter irrespective of the coloration is simply this;

The house wasn't meant for you!

You will get the apartment meant for you, notwithstanding let's always endeavor to allow the love and peace of God rule our hearts and guide our dealings wherever we find ourselves.

This is not a tribal matter.
It happens everywhere and each tribe has experienced it in Lagos and other states too. They all have their reasons but it's mostly igbos and edos cos they're very stubborn and radical to their landlords in general.
