It is sex that leads to many of these issues.

Sex> Unprotected Sex> Unwanted pregnancy> Sometimes Abortion> Inability to have children in future> Many Night vigils for a miracle

Sex> Unprotected Sex> Unwanted pregnancy> Sometimes deliver> Inability to cater for baby> Abandon Child or sell> Child uncared for> high potential to be an arm robber or kidnapper in future.

Sex> Unprotected Sex> Unwanted pregnancy> Sometimes deliver> Increase in population> Decrease in available resources> Inability to cater for baby> Abandon Child or sell> Child uncared for> high potential to be an arm robber or kidnapper in future.

The root cause of many problems na this sex matter.

A very Perilous time Man....
Righteousness89:
When Mothers are selling their own Suckling kids for cash then you begin to understand how Perilous the times are.

The Quest for money has turned the hearts of humans to that of Beast..

These are the very last times! The safety of our Soul in Eternity is Highly Paramount! Every other thing is Secondary.

No Matter the Matter, Ensure you are Confidently living life Trusting and Depending on GOD..

Ensure you Have Completely surrendered to JESUS Christ..
The Lord always has a way to take care of those that trust and Depend on Him..

With the high level of poverty in the north and the way they give birth like rat,I've never heard an Hausa woman sell her child cos of hardship.
What exactly is the problem of our fellow country people from the other side? undecided undecided

the lady is sick in the head, dis is not poverty.
How wl she spend/invest such proceeds? How can she sleep comfortably not knowing what could be happening to d child? Poverty will make people give their kids out or even for adoption.

What is 150k for goodness sake? Very soon she will start to kidnap other people's kids

Most of these babies are from the factory , the real mother might be a young student from a baby factory

What they do is to hand them over to agents to go market , what the buyers do is to resell to barren couples or use for begging

U can beg up to 500k with this baby before 6 months , then resell .

God will help us !

apatheticme:
There actually needs to be proper channels for adoption and wilful release of children to foster homes by parents who can't cater for them. We need to accept that reality in this part of the world so that people can stop doing things like this the wrong and criminal way.
Not everyone is financially capable or otherwise capable of caring for children. The whole adoption and foster home approach in Nigeria seems virtually non-existent.
Too bad!

The Govt made adoption of babies in Nigeria to be a herculean task, costing arm and leg and a whole lot of legal work.
But if the law id made easier, she would have gone to a motherless babies home and handed over the baby, sign some documents and move on.
