Sometime last week, the news that shook the country especially Christians is the jail term handed to the shepherd in charge of CCC Genesis Global parish, Prophet Israel Oladele after he was found guilty of an accusation that has to do with fraud.

After this news broke out, the pastor was castigated on the social media and in Christendom for involving himself in such an act but it was surprising that a popular prophet, Primate Ayodele didn’t join the bandwagon the castigate the prophet, rather he gave him words of encouragement and prayed for him.

Worst still, Primate Ayodele is seen as the spiritual father of the embattled prophet, and any spiritual father in that situation would ensure He stays clear off the case so people won’t profile him but Primate Ayodele didn’t think about any of this, rather he decided to receive every backlash that came with the support He gave Prophet Israel Oladele.

Primate Ayodele, with this act has portrayed what the gospel is about, which is showing love, no matter what and also not celebrating the fall of any man.

Jesus, as we read in the bible showed love to people, His disciples betrayed him, the most painful one was that of Peter yet Jesus still accepted him and literally made him his second in command.

No prominent man of God has spoken about this case, but Primate Ayodele stood his ground, and made a statement that Prophet Israel Oladele will come out better and greater.

Primate Ayodele should specially be commended for portraying the true character of Christ.
