The women hit by stray bullets have been identified as Alice Azaghene, Mrs Ebinipiri Onojamadu, and Mudufuro Blessing. According to reports, the policemen allegedly opened fire on roadside market women because their presence on the road caused a traffic gridlock that delayed their escort van from passing through the area.
