The world's oldest parrot has been discovered at Ojapata, in Ankpa > local government area of Kogi state. The parrot is said to be 77 > years old. > According to the Guinness Book of Records, the oldest parrot > is "Prudle", aged 35 in the United Kingdom. > Mr John Atumeyi who owns the parrot named "Okuh" sdaid he made the > starling discovery that his parrot is the oldest in the world after > browsing through the Internet. > "Based on the information I got from the web site of the Guinness > Book of World Records, I discovered that my parrot by name Okuh, was > twice older than the parrot with the present world record called > Prudle.
