The First Class Traditional Council ruler of the Ajiri Kingdom suituated at Udege Mbeki in Nasarawa Local Government in Nasarawa State HRH Dr. Halilu Bala Usman absconds from his palace over the fear of the bandits harassment.

This is the Community where the late Chief Amos Ewa, a traditional ruler of Odu village was killed/assasinated some few months ago.

Some of the Community Youths have called for his resignation over his cowardly act for leaving the palace with the staff and his family.

Even our royal father was once unsuccessfully attacked and some of his extended family members were ever kidnapped. We've all been managing, praying and directly and indirectly reporting to the gov't to take due actions in overcoming the situations. "Alhamdulillah", with the efforts put in place by the present gov'ts of local and state, things have worn new garments. But, my and our greatest bewilderment and confusion emerged when we noticed a total abscondment from our Paramount traditional ruler, Osu Ajiri, HE, HRH Alh. Halilu Bala Usman.

What does that suppose to mean? We've keenly noticed that the ruler has packed his valuables and families and since relocated to his personal residence in Nasarawa, that is out of his area of jurisdiction.

There is fear in us, if a traditional ruler can vacate his place of primary assignment in fear of being attacked, what about his subjects who he pretends to be for them, are they safe? Yet our leaders/elites are silent over it. Is that not a taboo by our tradition and royalties as a whole?

I want to use this medium to call on the bodies concerned to let the royal father come back to his office or calmly and kindly put a resignation and allow courageous and sacrifial people to take over. You cannot be out of us and pretend to be with us.
