I received my brother and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde and his entourage who came to express their appreciation for the amicable agreement to end our joint ownership of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology ( LAUTECH), Ogbomoso.

It's important to note that this decision was reached in the best interest of the two states, the students, staff and management of the university. I also want to reassure Osun citizens working at LAUTECH that the ceding of the institution to Oyo State won't affect their jobs.

They will retain all rights and obligations stipulated in their letters of engagement. Osun students at the university will also not be discriminated against and will not be subjected to fees or admission differentials.

Best wishes to the Government of Oyo State as it assumes the ownership and management of the university.

The Osun State University, UNIOSUN Admission List for candidates into the 2020/2021 Admission has been released. It may also interest you to know that the DE and suplementary admission list has also been released into various degree programmes. Candidates who took part in the 2020 UNIOSUN Post UTME and admission screening exercise can now check their admission status through the University Undergraduates Admission portal.
