Are all the killed farmers Rice farmer's owners?

Stop posting information you don't know of

Yes, it is their farm land.

Not only rice, but pepper, tomatoes, groundnut etc.

You can infact buy their harvest for cheap

Land is not a problem in the North. If you are not a lazy person, there is always a large expanse of land available for you to cultivate in the North. Those people killed were commercial rice farmers and their farm workers harvesting rice in their fields. Which is why analysts say there may be an economic warfare in place with terrorists aiming to starve Nigeria going by recent attacks on farmers.

The problem in the North is not Police brutality, if anything, the North is severely underpoliced due to the large expanse of the land. This why the North could not relate to EndSars. The Police are not their enemies, they need more of them.

The North has been plagued by Boko haram for over a decade now and although much still needs to be done, the Northeast has seen a little bit of respite. A time once was when bombs were going off on daily basis in public spaces killing scores of people all over the North, even in Abuja. The UN building, churches, mosques, markets, bus parks and even the Police Hq were not spared. Children were searched on daily basis before being admitted into their classes. Nowadays, the major casualties are mostly soldiers battling the terrorists in the deep fields until this recent incident.

However, a new ugly trend is rearing its head in the Northwest, the emergence of bandits. Some people believe these are Boko haram terrorists displaced from Sambisa and other Northeastern areas who have found a profitable business in kidnapping for ransom. There is urgent need for a change in tactics to arrest these new realities.
