India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) on Monday said it has rolled out Aadhaar enabled payment system (aeps) services. For this, IPPB has become the single most significant platform in the nation for providing interoperable banking solutions to the clients of any lender. Union Minister for Communications and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad today announced the rollout of all AePS providers on IPPB's anniversary.

Things to Learn about IPPB's AePS solutions


1) Together with AePS solutions, any individual who has a bank account connected to Aadhaar can do essential banking services such as cash withdrawals and balance enquiry no matter the bank they maintain their accounts with.

2) To avail those Aadhaar enabled payment solutions, a client can only authenticate his/her individuality with a fingerprint scan and Aadhaar authentication to complete a transaction.

3) Talking at the launching of AePS solutions, Ravi Shankar Prasad said, "With IPPB's AePS Services, we finally can offer interoperable doorstep banking solutions to clients of any bank such as the 34 crores Jan Dhan account holders, by minding the unprecedented last-mile advantage of IPPB.
