NEWS UPDATE!

Report just coming in says there is a serious stalemate at the ever busy Benin-Ekpoma-Auchi road by Obagie following a blockade by some supected kidnappers on that route moment ago. Crime Correspondent Festus Alenkhe who has been monitoring development on that route revealed that the alleged heavily armed kidnappers had first attacked occupants of a commerical vehicle and ordered the driver to use it to barricade the road.

An on-coming trailer driver sensing danger refused to stop. He eventually rammed into the bus killing some persons. Some travellers were kidnapped into the Bush in the process while a member of a vigilante group who was trying to resist the kidnappers was shot dead. The body of the slained vigilante man was still on the floor as at the time of this report. The situation led to a heavy traffic congestion flowing from the multiple accidents as the vehicles involved were still on the middle of the road when this report was filed.
