I.E "Ada Ivbi Edo!!!! = Imose!!!!". The translation for this word is " Great children of Edo!!! = Of beauty!!!"


so now lets go into the items for the hour and our todays dealings will be on English in Benin.

We are starting with A B D Edo ( A B C D in Benin) and in Benin we have 24 letters when writing or reading it.

so they include:

A=ha B=bi D=di E=A E =hee

F=fi. G =gi I.=E H=ee. K.=ke

L=lay M=Mi. N.=ni O.=ho O.=or

P=pi. R= ri S= si. T.=ti U.=hu

V=vi. W. =wi Y.=yi Z=zi


knowing all this for now is good. In our next section we will learn how to for word with them

let's go into words and meaning in Edo language Note: there are some words that you cannot find it meaning in Edo for example some one can't just ask me to tell him the meaning of Sim card in Edo because it obvious that Sim card is a new generation development and if you find it meaning, it will either be that the person answering the question added the usual "E"= A letter to the beginning of the question asked. Eg = Esim card or the answer will be that which explain what Sim card is used for thereby making the answer a sentence or explanation rather than the normal simple word for it.
