The lady identified as Jo Pearl claimed to have been with Burna Boy for two years and that she was tired of keeping it a SECRET (take note!) due to her mental state.

Analysing the song further, “for a long time” could be any period of time or the same two years Jo Pearl mentioned that she and Burna Boy had been together for.

There are always many sides to a story, but the fact should never be ignored that Burna Boy’s African Giant Album, which lost in the World Music Album Grammy category to Angelique Kidjo’s body of musical works earlier this year, was worked on by him for about two years.

Is it a mere coincidence again that Jo Pearl said the two years she had an undercover relationship with Burna Boy affected her mental health more like the way the loss of the Grammy World Music Album category to Angelique Kidjo affected his mental health?

She said that they exchanged numbers and he invited her for one of his shows. Jo Pearl said Burna Boy was so sweet and caring and made her feel good.

Now, speaking about “inviting her for one of his shows”, a visit to Jopearl’s Insta story revealed that she actually visited Nigeria.

Yes, anyone could visit Nigeria but going by her documented and detailed Insta story, Jopearl wouldn’t have had so much hospitality and welcome if not invited by someone.

First, she was received by mobile policemen at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja. Lodged at a 5 star hotel at Victoria Island Lagos and also had time to visit Ibadan during this visit.

What is yet to be confirmed is if Burna Boy had a show in Ibadan in the last two years.
