The duo are girlfriends to the mastermind, Ifesinachi, who is a UBER driver but presently at large.

The fleeing suspect, Ifesinachi, has kept Ujunwa at a place and placed calls across to her family that she had been kidnapped.

He pretended as a kidnapper and demanded for ransom of 30 million naira. They eventually negotiated, with the help of his other girlfriend, Precious Chukwu, and agreed to pay him #700,000 (seven hundred thousand naira only) before he "released" Ujunwa.

The police swung into action and later discovered that it was a staged kidnapping, and there were immediately arrested. The commissioner of Police Lagos State has ordered that the feeling suspect be arrested.

The first error Ifesinachi made was to go on this kidnapping operation without carrying along the enablers - the Nigerian police.

He should have negotiated with then and reached an agreement on their cut. I'm sure he would have cashed out with close to 2 million naira instead of the 700,000 naira and he would not be caught. In fact it is the police that will have adviced the families to pay the 2 million that the "kidnapper" is demanding for ransom.

He should check it. Why were some kidnapping cases successful while his own was not? Because he failed to carry the enablers and usual co-conspirators (police) along.
