The period of Yuletide like this is always a very lively, exciting and busy period in Nigeria and across the globe.

One of the things that make this period more exciting is the high volume of business activities, travels and shoppings that always herald Christmas and new year as most business owners do engage in promos, trade fairs, reduction of prices (discounts) so as to woo the patronage of customers.

Business and shop owners at the exquisite Omotola Plaza, popularly known as TOP Ikeja are also not left out in the move to make Christmas and new year more interesting for Nigerians who want to experience one of the most memorable shoppings for themselves and loved ones at this period.

To achieve this lofty mission, the shop owners at the plaza have teamed up to organise an epoch-making trade fair within the business plaza located at New Alade Market, off Allen Avenue, Ikeja Lagos.

The event tagged “Biggest Trade Fair of the Year” is scheduled to take place between December 10 to December 13 from 9am am to 6pm daily at the afformentioned date and venue.

The shop owners have made available different items with a discount rate of 3 to 5 per cent which include: Make-up products, baby items and clothing, ready to wear fabrics for men and women, home decorations and interiors, shoes and bags for ladies, wedding rings and jewelry, baby food and diapers, provisions, party/home use coolers, wall papers and blinds, restaurants and so on.

In an interview with entrepreneurtv.ng, a shop owner at the plaza, Mrs Bunmi Fadojutimi said that they (shop owners) decided to organise such a unique trade fair to make there teeming customers experience an unforgettable shopping ahead of Christmas and new year.

She added that they want to let the world know that TOP Ikeja has what it takes as regards shopping, and also to ratchet-up awareness on the great things happening at the plaza during this particular Yuletide period.

“As you know, this a season where people are looking for a place to have the best shopping. We want both Nigerian residents and foreign visitors to come and see what we have in stock for them. During the three days tade fair we are organising, we have made arrangement of 3-5per cent discount on all our quality products and services,” she said

Also speaking, a shop owner, Mrs Dorothy Onadeko said with the quality goods and services the plaza has in stock, Nigerians need not travel abroad for shopping during this Yuletide, adding that all what they want to go and get abroad have been made available at TOP Ikeja. “They should please come and take advantage of the 3-day trade fair, and they will never regret it,” says Onadeko
