Registered voters: 17 million
Votes recorded: About 13 million


Population of Nigeria: 195.9 Million
Registered voters: 82 million
Votes recorded: 28 million


From the above stats, 58% of Ghanaians registered to vote, which is higher than 42% of Nigerians that registered to vote.
During the election, 76% of registered voters in Ghana came out to vote, while only 35% of registered voters came out in Nigeria.

This is democracy. If you fold your hands during election, you are part of the problem.

Mr Op, though you made some points. But remember that Ghana is more monogenous than Nigeria. The Ashanti tribe make up the bulk of the population unlike Nigeria which is a marriage of three vastly distinct ethnic groups.
In reality, elections can never be peaceful in Nigeria untill ethnic tensions ends.
