Ghana Election An Eye Opener To Our Nation

The Former Vice President of Nigeria Mr. Atiku Abubakar has revealed that the smooth conduct of Ghana election should serve as an eye opener to we Nigerians.

Speaking from his twittle handle this morning, Atiku who was former presidential candidate under the umbrella of People's Democratic Party said that Nigeria electoral system need a better reform in order to address the shortcomings of our previous experiences.

Atiku said this in reference to what he believed that happened in the last presidential election in the country where he believed that the election was rigged against him.

It is erroneous to compare Nigeria with Ghana. Ghana is only the size of Lagos and perhaps Ogun State. There is no comparison. It is more complex if you to deal with a humongous population and landmass like Nigeria.
However kudos to Ghana. We appreciate the relatively peaceful conduct of the election.

What is the eye opener there?? Election that was rigged like ours?? Election that was rigged to favor the president..

Ghana is NOT the size of Lagos. Did you go to school? Did you do geography? And who told you size or homogenous nature of a country determines its stability and level of violence?

Sharaaap! Who rigged the election? You think Ghana is like nigeria? Before the elections, several polls/surveys were conducted. All of them pointed to a narrow win for the incumbent. As if he won't rig if opportunity present itself.

No Nigeria politician can rely on free and fair election in this country.
