Pastor DamZik has suddenly become mute and cannot answer the simple question.

Do you see why your pastors will continue to be criticized?
You were on social media at 9:32a.m on Sunday. Hope you didn't go to church late. "Do not forsake the assembly of God's people." And "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy."

First the writer of this thread is a very dishonest person who uses click bait's jus to get people to his post.
Also he is one of those who do not believe other should have opposing opinions. Not everyone must like your pastor or accept his teachings.
It does not make them lazy youths.
I believe if you are a true follower of the said pastor, you would be respectful and a bit more honest

Note... the creator of the thread said, "Nigerian youths have lost it."
First just because people don't agree with you does not make them wrong.
Nigerian youths are still some of the highest church goers in the world. Most of them are like you, very loyal to their pastors but few are really smart and would point out the wrong even if it's from a pastor

1. Jesus is in heaven
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

2. Jesus is in you if you have the Holy Ghost.

I am sorry for the negative headline. It is because I know many people will not bother to open this thread if it was a POSITIVE headline. This message is for the generation of social media who have turned themselves Reactants and Reactors at the expense of their destiny.

It seems Nigerian youths has lost it. I can't imagine that people could go to Canaan Land, Ota or stay glue to listen to or watch Bishop Oyedepo just because they want to pick his words, twist it, then come to social media and make a mockery of this great and gentle man of God. These "lazy yoots" (according to Mr President), known as zombies and wailers derive joy in ridiculing great men of God but they fight to finish to defend world's most corrupt politicians.

We need to know in this country that Christianity in Nigeria is not our problem but our solution. Pastors are not our problem in Nigeria. The fantastically corrupt politicians who continue to plunder the wealth of our nation in guise of fighting corruption are our real problem and unless we understand this, we will never know the solution. Enough is enough!

In conclusion, I want to enjoy Nigerian youths to shun folly and embrace wisdom. Instead of choosing to criticising pastors (who are many times greater than your generation) as your hobby, why not learn their secrets and enjoy Heaven on Earth like them? You don't need to be a preacher to enjoy what they are enjoying from God as everybody cannot become a preacher at once. A word is enough for the wise!

There are just too many things wrong with your post.

First of all, how many times do you defend Jesus Christ, let alone do it with so much passion as you are now doing for mere men like yourself.

What if they call themselves pastors? Does that make them above criticism? If politicians can be corrupt, pastors can be corrupt too.

Religion and politics are some of our major problems in Nigeria.

If religion had positive influence on Nigerians, we will have less greedy people.

In fact, if our country was developed, people like Oyedepo will not be billionaires.

This means that they are benefiting from the rot in our country.

Let him go and try and establish a church in a very developed country like Japan, and see if he would succeed.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

In the above scriptures, the people Jesus was talking about here are not unbelievers but believers, not even new converts but those who have grew spiritually to the level of performing miracles, signs and wonders in the name of Jesus but their gifts of prophecy, deliverance and all will not qualify them for Heaven because they are workers of iniquity. They have initial salvation because they Accept Jesus, Believe Jesus and Confess Jesus (ABC) but they don't have final salvation because they won't make it to heaven.

That is condemnation at a point of no repentance. That will not be my portion and your portion in Jesus name. What is the biblical meaning of iniquities? According to Webster's dictionary, the word iniquity means gross injustice, wickedness or sin. ... The Bible says that through one man, Adam, sin entered the world. The definition of an iniquity is a sin or wrong doing. An example of an iniquity is someone running into another person with their car on purpose. Denial of the sovereignty of God. Lack of righteousness or justice; wickedness.
my wish is that someday Nigerian Christians will learn how to read and understand scriptures more accurately, then they will understand the damage these pastors are doing to their psyche trying to cause distinction and separation among believers of Christ in their churches.

If this is what is the concept of initial and final salvation you mean, then the concept does not correlate with the state of this current day Christian who was born and brought up in Christianity today.

Why?
Because the disciples in Matthew 7:21-22 you made reference to though were believers, but they were never saved or being Christians(that means they did not practice Christianity neither where they baptised with the holy ghost into God's kingdom) until Jesus died and resurrected, While today Christians are already in the kingdom of God by virture of Christ's resurrection 2000 years ago, and their salvation is final(once and for all, nothing like initial) because at Jesus death he said IT IS FINISH. Meaning, he has brought the kingdom of God down on earth through his death and resurrection.

That's why i asked you the question initially WHAT IS GOD'S KINGDOM ON THIS EARTH?
And you rightly answered that is for you to accept Jesus.

These people have accepted Jesus and it is showing by their action of coming to church, yet your pastors are not satisfied. They want to win souls that are already in the kingdom by making alter calls.
The people self they don't even know that they are already saved. Out of ignorance they keep responding to such alter calls grin

It is well o!

Are you saying it is all who confess Jesus as their Saviour that will make Heaven? Does that means whatever they do or don't do after they give their lives to Jesus doesn't matter? I also want to learn from you sir.

On the issue of calling altar call frequently, it is not only necessary but also important. It is only unnecessary if someone comes out twice or more and that will amount to ignorance (lack of knowledge). This is common to new converts. My friend use to do that when he was newly converted until I schooled him. Then, he could come out twice in a single service but he has outgrown that stage now. In my church, we have special studies for new converts.

I think the one that should be a source of concern is commercialising the grace and gift of God. That's evil and AntiChrist principle. However, there has never been and will never be a perfect system anywhere on earth until Jesus comes to take us home. A fact.

On the issue of Pastors, it seems like you had been decieved by a fake Pastor before. If you close your eyes so that 99 bad people could pass, you won't know when the one good person will also pass. Remember not the former things and move forward with God. God bless you.

So, I should criticize a religion I don't know much about?

Moreover, how many clerics flaunt wealth acquired through teaching the Quran?

How many clerics are billionaires like Oyedepo?

How many clerics own massive mosque buildings?

I am sorry, but I don't dabble into a subject that I barely know much about.

I am a Yoruba man. I can criticize the way a fellow Yoruba person follows traditions. But I don't much about Efik culture. How can I then go and be criticizing an Efik man on the way he is following his traditions?

May God make me greater than Oyedepo and also make those who will be jealous of me more in number than his. Your criticism is out of envy not rationality. If I tell you that you are doing yourself a great disservice you won't believe it. Can what you don't appreciate come to you.

I was like you before I become wise. I thank God it's not too late for me. As for wealth, I appreciate the God of Oyedepo. May he bless me too. I'm going to be richer than him by God's grace.

Are you saying it is all who confess Jesus as their Saviour that will make Heaven?

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

That means there is no limitation to the number of people who are willing to be saved by simply believing. Meaning, if everyone on this earth are willing to believe, then they are all saved.

Does that means whatever they do or don't do after they give their lives to Jesus doesn't matter? I also want to learn from you sir.

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Do you see that?
Keeping the law has nothing to do with your faith or belief in Christ, so it doesn't really matter.
But however, if a Christian choose not to keep the law and commit sin, then he will face the consequence of his actions here on this earth.

On the issue of calling altar call frequently, it is not only necessary but also important. It is only unnecessary if someone comes out twice or more and that will amount to ignorance (lack of knowledge). This is common to new converts. it depend on what the person is coming out for.
If the alter call is calling for people to come out and confess their sins and repent, then it is very necessary to call it from time to time.
But if the alter call is calling for people to give their lives to Christ, then should be conducted for only unbelievers like Muslims and other non Christians.
A situation were a pastor is calling Christians to give their lives to Christ again, i don't know what he is doing.

Note : To give your life to Christ and to repent from sin they are two different things.

I think the one that should be a source of concern is commercialising the grace and gift of God. That's evil and AntiChrist principle. However, there has never been and will never be a perfect system anywhere on earth until Jesus comes to take us home. A fact.
it will be very difficult to commercialize the grace of God when the gospel truth is rightly divided like what I'm saying here

On the issue of Pastors, it seems like you had been decieved by a fake Pastor before. If you close your eyes so that 99 bad people could pass, you won't know when the one good person will also pass. Remember not the former things and move forward with God. God bless you.

Jesus Christ is supposed to be our benchmark.

But due to how messed up Christianity has become (all thanks to false teachers like Oyedepo), people like you now use your pastors as benchmarks.

For you, God's blessing can only be wealth.

You still have a lot to learn.

Prosperity theology has finished all of you. May God bring you back to the path of chasing salvation, and salvation alone.
