Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe
(Ubom-Nibo) joins All Progressive Congress in Anambra State.

Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe was received into the Party by the Executive Chairman of the Party Caretaker Committee in the State, Chief Basil Ejidike and other members of the State Caretaker Committee and Local Government Caretaker Chairmen of the Party from all the twenty-one Local Government Area.

Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe (Ubom-Nibo) in his opening speech thanked the State Chairman, Chief Sir Basil Ejidike for this singular honour. He said He has known Chief Ejidike as a true Politician and Party man far back in 1988 in Fegge then.

He said the journey of 2023 is a critical one and he is in APC to add value to the party. That it is time for Ndi Igbo to take their rightful place in the Politics of Nigeria

He pledged his loyalty to the Leadership of the Party and commitment to the development of the Party in the His Ward, Awka south, Anambra State and Nigeria in general.

Chief Sir Basil Ejidike thanked Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe ( Ubom- Nibo) for identifying with APC. He promised him that he will never regret his movement into the party under his leadership.

Many Party Stakeholders were on ground to receive him. Amongst them were Hon Chief Ozo Ughamadu ( Former Deputy Speaker,Anambra State House of Assembly), Hon Chief Humphrey Nsofor (Former Majority Leader,Anambra State House of Assembly), Chief Amobi Nwaokafor (Agbako Agbako Awka, A Guber Aspirant under APC) and many others.

Highlights of the event is the presentation of APC symbol,BROOM, to Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe as a Member of the Party by Chief Sir Basil Ejidike. Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe donated a Brand new Sienna Bus to the Party. The particulars of the Sienna Car was equally registered in the Party's name for official use.
