Punishment for perjury is conviction and jail term.As long as he didn't perjure any of the processes that brought him in 2020 the election will remain Valid.

As a Governor he can't be tried for perjury.BTW the suit is not even alleging perjury

Your submission does not make any sense in real judiciary matter. The problem is that we have no president and everybody - Judiciary, Ministers (Executive) and the Parliament are doing what they like.

Lack of President allowed the Judiciary to become a mockery seat. You said a governor cannot be tried for Perjury - are you referring to immunity? Under Obj, Obaseki would not have contested that election. In Civilized country, he would have resigned.

Salisu Buhari was a Speaker of House of Reps when he was removed over Degree forgery. Tinubu was a governor when the case of Chicago University was pursued by Gani Fawehinmi until it got to final conclusion.

There are hundreds of UI graduates who graduated in 1979 and are still alive. The Degree Certificate awarded in that year should be compared with the one presented by Obaseki. Entering University by Direct Entry without GCE "A" Level result is not done at UI. Only Direct Entry can make a person spend 3 years at UI for a Degree. Moreover, admission must be backed by 5 Credits in " O" level including English and Mathematics. Constitutionally, Obaseki does not have requirements to enter UI or to be a governor in Nigeria.

The death of Alao Aka- Basorun and Gani Fawehinmi have created vacuum at the seat of Justice in Nigeria.

Ozekhome, Falana, Ebun Adegboruwa, Keyamo and others are just after money.

You did not understand that this case is pre-election matter. That’s the reason the appeal court ruled that it must go on.
Pre-Election matters has nothing to do with immunity.

There was no any GCE "A" Level result. He only presented a Testimonial of attendance on a plain sheet paper without the School's Letterhead paper and used the name of School no longer in existence. That was for APC screening. Because I raised the abnormalities concerning "A" Level result, he removed it during PDP Screening. Is it possible to spend 3 years for a degree program at UI without entering through Direct Entry ( GCE "A" Level supported by 5 Credits at "O" Level including English and Mathematics). He does not have any.

WAEC is the issuing body of GCE "A" Level result and Certificate. WAEC has never apologized or issued any statement on GCE "A" Level result of Obaseki as Obaseki has never presented any GCE "A" Level result. He only presented a Testimonial typed on a plain sheet of paper of attendance of HSC class. School Testimonial is different from GCE results or Certificate.
