the error is an inflateException which means it has to do with the layout xml



I think this is where the error is

change it to "@style/ToolbarTheme"

then edit the styles.xml resource

But it's not responding to clicks

Try this way. Restore your code back to the last version that worked properly. Rebuild and run.

Now start with adding features gradually. From there you would be able to pin point the error.

Or cut the NavigationView part of the xml code and do a rebuild. Run your app let's see what happens.

If not, I’ll use another medium to put this options

Abt the other problem I had, I downgraded my gradle and it worked

Have you bundled your app? If not then it's the debug version you are sending to other phones so definitely not going to work.
