That means the governor himself violated laid down safety precautions for contracting it. We should not take this covid with levity but as always everything in naija is politicized or ethnicized

Didn't schools close for the holiday already? Nigerians have thrown caution to the wind regarding the virus, however it is understandable; it doesn't kill the average Nigerian man. I have three facemasks which were enforced on me during the lockdown and now they're useless collecting dust. It's alright, situations come and go in life. This virus is only one of those.

The last lock down sent many out of job and some are still tryng to stand again

Pls Mr Governor ...kindly use other means like no face mask no movement

If u lock down again people do suffer o

Remember u gave a loaf of bread for 4 flat in a compound in the last lock down ......

A beg sir
If you had read the post, you would have seen that is what he is essentially saying should be done. But if we don't take responsibility now, as is usual for Nigerians, we will eventually have a lookdown because we cannot handle this thing if it gets too much. We don't have the capacity to. So any sensible govt that understands our capacity will not wait for it to get to that level before imposing a lockdown.

Wear a mask. Don't mind that others are not. Wash hands regularly. Don't shake hands but give fist numbs. Stay meters away from people, especially those who say it's a scam. They infect others the most.

I do not believe in second wave of covid19. The government stopped or reduced testing after the palliative issues, in order to justify their reason, decided to increase covid19 or manipulate the results.

If Nigerians are not careful, anoda lockdown will b unavoidable and e no go funny

It doesn't matter how careful Nigerians be...... a lockdown will be enforced. . Ask yourself... Nigerians were not following any of the guidelines... partying... gathering... not keeping social distances .... packed in churches and mosques... markets and malls... schools and banks.... markets and betting parlours....... how many died of COVID-19? Go and review their own numbers. That should tell you it either has to be Nigerians are immune to the virus..... or they are over hyping the spread and deadliness of the virus to justify a lockdown.

Apt. Nigerians are too daft. They won't do what will save their little economies now but when it happens they will scream to high heavens. Continue this way and a new lockdown will become inevitable. Even such recent history they cannot learn from. Cannot obey simple directives to save themselves. Little wonder their ancestors were led in great numbers in chains to cultvate sugarcane in the West Indies many centuries ago. They cannot be organised around values.
