A lot of revellers have planned to celebrate the festive season at event centers around Lagos (they call it Detty December), but the rise in COVID-19 cases in the state has put paid to their plans. New guidelines have been made for these event centers and the Lagos State Safety Commission has shut down event centers that have failed to comply with the guidelines. These include Cubana Night Club, the Corner in Lekki and Oniru Private Beach, also in Lekki.
