Tristan da Cunha: If there were ever a zombie apocalypse, it seems possible that the volcanic islands of Tristan da Cunha would be safe. Why? 1. It is the world’s most remote inhabited archipelago, with about 250 inhabitants 2. Outsiders are forbidden from buying property or settling down 3. The only way in or out is a six-day boat ride from Cape Town (no air service).
