For you to say that you have never your battery charger on your gen's output current, it means that NEPA is good in the area you stay.

But there is this DC battery cable that comes with a new gen, and there is a DC socket on the gen where you can plug this cable to to charge your batteries (which is DC itself).
Please note, na only DC plug you fit chook there o, otherwise the plug fit blow come spoil the gen socket join.
Because person like me fit go chook AC plug dia

So if I ever need to charge with gen, na to use that DC socket on the gen for 5mins or thereabout rather than my battery charger.

If you wan experiment sha just put some money aside in case of incasity.

To know how long your set up will last with any plugged devices use this formulae

Battery rating: 12V 36AH for example.

Just go ahead and multiply.
Power=IV=12*36=432w

What is the input power of your laptop battery? It is stated with W attached to the number or as input voltage ana current or as mah.

E.g laptop battery input is 100w

432w/100w
=~4

Something like that sha, I don't forget the calculation.

My PC uses a 550W power supply, but I know it's not using all the 550W. It's hard to calculate exactly how much it uses because there are several components. I just need a battery that can back up the pc and the monitor (just those 2, I don't even care about fan) for 3 or more hours.

I get bluegate 650 ups for my PS4 so if I buy larger battery e get any way to connect am to the ups make e be say when light off the battery go pick automatically just like the normal ups battery while the ups dey on and connected to power and make e no dey charge also.

As in when the ups dey on and connected to power and if light go off make e enter battery mode automatically

My fear is the UPS getting over heated because sometimes there used to be sudden power surge from battery that will make the wires get hot.
