Sketchy reports from Asaba, the Delta State capital alleges that stray bullet shot by the newly inaugurated security outfit, Operation Delta Hawk has killed a woman in front of her shop and injured another man.

The incident has sparked up outrage across social media as it is barely a month the outfit was inaugurated to combat the rising cases of insecurity and protect lives and properties.

Taking to his social media page to condemn the alleged killing by the security outfit, Human rights activist, Isreal Joe called for the culprits to be brought to book and expressed condolences to the deceased thus;

“Operation Delta Hawk una weldone. The state governor didn't set you guys up to kill his people but to protect lives and properties of Deltans. It is unfortunate this has happened but we hope it will never happen again.

“May the soul of the innocent women rest in peace and we wish the young man a quick recovery. The culprits must be brought to book.
