Drinokrane:
Social media aide to the president Lauretta Onochie on Wednesday labelled Channels TV anchor Chamberlain Usoh as a hater of good news, Igbere TV reports.

Mrs Onochie shared a video on Twitter of a Channels TV reporter speaking with the chairman of the Mile 12 market in Lagos.

The reporter says food prices are cheaper this year than they were last year.

Onochie, however, said the news took the “good-news-hating” Mr Usoh by surprise.

She wrote:

The presidential aide also attacked the broadcast station’s flagship breakfast show Sunrise Daily which Usoh co-anchors, saying it relishes bad news.

hmmmm.
But come to think of it, if assistant to the president cant align wt fact, the advice they give the President must be very wrong, thereby setting the country aback. The painful thing is they get paid well for setting the country back.

Emempaul:
last year paint rubber of garri was 300 naira per paint rubber
dis year it's 1k per paint rubber

last year satchet tomatoes was btw 40 to 50 naira
dis year it's btw 150 to 200 naira

last year we still bought a bag of rice for 12k to 15k
dis year it's by 23k to 28k per bag

last year a keg of palm oil was 12k
as of yesterday it's 20.5k

the salt we bought last year at 50 was sold at the market for 100 naira yesterday

Big size tooth paste was 250naira last year
dis year it's 450 naira

let's not even near the perishables like onions, pepper, cucumber, watermelonand others that are supposed to be cheap at this time is getting out of the reach of the masses so tell Miss lauretta Onochie were in heaven' s name are thing now cheap

That tomatoes and yam are in its season of glut hence cheap because of them coming from the north in large quantities doesn't mean it would reflect on the price of other commodities

SMH

Why did you write rice 28k
I bought mine 36k early December
