That's the same chicken people use for snack abroad..

Yes it's that affordable..
10,500 Naira is just $21.

If they use full chicken for snack abroad, what do they eat as main meal? An elephant??

A carton of soft chicken is #14,000 while orobo chicken carton is #13,500, you find about 25 pieces in each carton which the seller will cut into 3 each making 75 pieces of big chicken

You cannot compare the taste of a live chicken with one that has been in the fridge for a long time.

Kaduna farmers didn't get it right this xmas as the price dropped ridiculously. Those two should be about 3k maximum in kd. I'm still wondering what's the causes of the bad.market. Buyers are reluctant, insecurity has affected our economy badly. Many people lost their job or businesses to so many factors in the state in the course of the year. The five hundred birds I raised still remain about 260 despite my 10 yrs experience in raising and selling chicken. It's well.

I am still wondering when chicken became the official meat of choice for Christmas because as far as I can remember, goats and turkey were the standard then and chicken was a poor man's choice.

As it is at the moment, chicken has overtaken them all and given turkey and goats a run for the money.

Merry Christmas to you anyway

You are one of those short changing local farmers and encouraging smuggling.. The chicken you talked about is not healthy.. Uou may be fine now but long run tinz... Eat live slaughtered chicken and not those preserved with formalin. A word is enough for d wise

The same way Nigerians gullibly made the Corolla a ridiculously expensive car, because some bozzos woke up one morning and started a rant on it's "reliability"; when in fact it's the only junk these bozzos can wrap their heads around. undecided
